I see good marketing schemes from Micro. I imagine that's what developers see as well. I definately applaud M$ for getting behind games, supporting developers, & grabbing demos, exclusives, & dlc.
IMHO, Sony could learn alittle bit from Micro in those departments = I might have had more games to play for my PS3 last year.

Demos are a must. Alot of games that dont do demos dont see my money. On the other hand, I have bought many games because I liked their respective demo...
I believe that almost every next gen game HAS some form of demo so reviewers can get hands-on with a near final product. Some publishers chose not to release said demo to the public...
Not releasing a demo shows a lack of faith by the developer themselves, with the only exception being large sandbox/Rpg type ga...

Nope. The drums & guitar timing is far too forgiving. I can hit 90's easily on normal diff to songs I couldnt even begin to play real drums to. It may not be bad training to get started though, but except a real instrument to be *significantly* harder.

Yes, it is more appealing to casual gamers b/c of the motion controls.
But said contols are not superior to 360 or PS3 games = check Metacritic.
But mainly, the Wii's success = it's price & more family oriented. Plus, the casual gamer is just more enticed by the gimmick controler.

I can't wait for GTA IV, but the hype is spinning out of control IMHO. Everybody says the graphics are perfect, the gameplay is perfect, the lighting is perfect, the MP is perfect... wow, I hope it is, but I have yet to play a "Perfect" game.
Again, Im sure it's going to be a great game, but the media hype is out of control. Nothing is perfect. When is the custom GTA IV 711 slurpee coming ? lol...

At some point you've got to wonder what kind of relationship Sony has with the 3rd party developers to get left out in the cold so often on this type of stuff...

The graphics & gunplay from the gameplay trailers looks sick, even if melee is not very effective. I'm down with the 3rd person perspective & Gears controls. Not a bad review, I cant believe this game is any worse than Army of Two, which I enjoyed.
